Kuhlman Builders started in 1957 when a man named W. T. Kuhlman showed a couple the house he and his wife, Jane, were trying to sell.  The couple liked the house they were shown, but asked W. T. if he could build one more suited to their needs.  With this one small gesture, Kuhlman Builders was born.  As business grew, W. t. enlisted the help of his five sons, who worked for him each summer until they were old enough to work full time. When it was time for W. t. to retire, his sons were more than willing to take over the business. 

Today, Kuhlman Builders remains owned and operated by the Kuhlman family, who practice the values instilled on them by their parents: exceptional customer service, superior craftsmanship, and a dedication to cost-efficient, timely work.
Though the elder Kuhlmans have been enjoying retirement since 1988, they cannot be kept away from the business: W.T.can still be found at his shop each day restoring tractors and talking business with his sons and Jane helps her daughters with a few office duties.
